About Stephanie (MSc & BSc Warwick)
I am currently studying MSc Economics and International Financial Economics at the University of Warwick, having previously completed my BSc in Economics there. Alongside my university studies, I completed IB Higher Level Mathematics, which gave me a strong foundation in advanced mathematical problem-solving, analytical thinking and quantitative methods.
I am a friendly, patient and supportive tutor who understands that every student learns differently. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and make maths feel more approachable and manageable. At the same time, I am hardworking and dedicated to pushing students to reach their full potential through consistent practice, encouragement and structured learning.
Having previously taught GCSE and sixth form mathematics, I understand the challenges students face and how to explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. I pride myself on being professional, reliable and well-prepared for every lesson, creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

I offer personalised and engaging maths tutoring for GCSE, A-Level and IB Mathematics (Higher and Standard Level). Having completed IB Higher Level Mathematics myself and with previous experience teaching GCSE and sixth form students, I understand both the technical content and the exam techniques needed to achieve strong results.
My teaching approach focuses on building a clear understanding of concepts step-by-step, followed by guided practice and exam-style questions to strengthen confidence and problem-solving skills. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and pace, whether they need support with core understanding, homework help, revision or top-grade exam preparation.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, with adjustments available upon request.
