About Sebastian
I'm a student at the University of Liverpool studying a BSc in geography. I'm as much a mental coach/mentor as a tutor. A wise man once said "no such thing as bad student only bad teacher," (for the karate kid fans you'll know where that came from). This quote really resonates with me as I strongly believe that I can be the tutor/mentor your son/daughter needs to push to the highest level of academia. Outside tutoring I'm a sportsman playing golf and football but also a linguist studying French to a B2 level. Finally I'm a motivational speaker and have spoken in front of hundreds at a youth cop event to help make a change for the environment.

As a recently finished A level student I have a better grasp on student life and the difficulties of A level/GCSE life. With this in mind I use a variety of teaching methods including:
My teaching methods are built upon understanding the student first then teaching the material in a tailored way to them. For example via visual methods like diagrams or mind maps or verbal methods such as discussion heavy sessions with practice questions to help check understanding.
A typical lesson would be 45 mins to an hour depending on the student/parent as I'm aware focus tends to fade for most between 45-60 mins and I want to deliver your child with the highest quality level of education.
I've tutored people in person as a teacher of classes of 30 in summer schools and term time lessons and have seen first hand how students react to feedback and how it is different for every student which is something I strive for with my tutoring.
The lessons are specifically targeted for GCSE/A level students however anyone wanting to learn French at a A1-B2 level on the CEFR scale should also get in contact.
