I'm a 21 year old third year BSc History, Politics & Economics undergrad at King's College London. About the lesson

About my lessons:
My lessons are for A Level Economics students either in year 12 or year 13. They last for an hour or two hours depending on my client's preference.

Qualifications/Experience:
I have 3 years' of consistent private tutoring experience in both A Level Economics and also A Level History. Details of my students' track records are below.

Methodology:
Most teachers and tutors either focus too much on exam technique or focus too much on underlying skills. My approach is nuanced three step process. I begin by building the underlying critical thinking intuition. Following this, I help my student apply their critical thinking to understand the course content. Finally, I help them focus sharply on covering example questions and essay plans. Step 3 enables the student to smash the foundational exam questions but steps 1 and 2 help the student to also think on their feet.

Furthermore, I teach behavioural science backed study skills based around building resilience and grit. This way, I empower my students to work hard outside of our lessons. This is the key behind my students' success and therefore my success as an A Level Economics tutor.
