I have been a student of A-Levels myself, and I have achieved an A* in Biology in my own A-Levels, along with an A* in Chemistry and an A in Physics, Mathematics and English (only taken till the AS level)

I teach by explaining the key concepts of the lesson first and repeat if necessary. I use revision questions in between the lessons to ensure that the students have understood the concept and will assign worksheets and homework such such that regular practice is achieved. When I am marking the questions, I will show them the answer rubric as well to allow them to understand what is expected of the examiner and what their answers lack, such that they can answer better next time.
