About Hanaa
My passion for teaching maths began during my internship at Bishop Challoner Catholic College and Haybridge High School, where I shadowed experienced teachers, observed lessons, and even had the chance to plan and deliver my own lessons to students of different ages and abilities. Through these experiences, I learned how to tailor my teaching style to each student's individual needs and help them overcome their maths-related challenges.
In addition to my internships, I also have experience as a child workforce assistant coach for the CoachBright Volunteering Programme, where I worked with school pupils from low-income backgrounds to help them improve their grades, confidence, and access to university. I have also served as an AS Maths mentor at Bournville College and a Year 5 teaching assistant at Bordesley Green Primary School, where I provided extra support to students through clear explanations and creative visual aids.
My approach to maths tutoring is personalised, patient, and student-centred. Whether you need help with basic arithmetic or advanced calculus, I will work with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, set realistic goals, and create a customised learning plan that suits your needs and learning style.
