About Francesca

I have been teaching for over 25 years and have experience teaching in the classroom and as a private tutor. My students have begun with basic English skills which they have built up to the point of being able to live an independent life in an English speaking country as well as entering university. My interests include learning languages and I also speak French, Italian, Cantonese and Welsh. I also like to do yoga and hiking.

About the lesson

I am a fully qualified teacher (QTLS) with over 25 years of professional experience in both Hong Kong and the UK. My roles have included class teacher, tutor both as an instructor and in a private capacity, teacher-in-charge and exam assessor. I have taught English in kindergartens and primary schools in Hong Kong. In addition, I have taught in ESF as well as summer camps and related holiday activities. As a private tutor I have supported several older students in their aim to attend the university of their choice. I have also taught adults and helped them achieve their goals of changing their career path.
My lessons are tailored made to the individual’s needs and I aim to widen the student’s knowledge of English literature and language whilst increasing their confidence and motivation.
