About Renée
I am an independent scholar in analytical psychology and currently serve as Chair of the Cambridge Jungian Circle, where I curate talks, discussions, and events exploring the deeper dimensions of the human mind. My work is rooted in a genuine curiosity about how people think, learn, and grow—and this naturally extends into my teaching. I care deeply about helping students move beyond what they believe they are capable of, often discovering a confidence and clarity that surprises them.
Alongside my academic interests, I am a mother to two undergraduate sons—one studying engineering and the other psychology—which gives me a personal understanding of the pressures, transitions, and opportunities students face today. This perspective allows me to connect with students not only as a tutor, but as someone who recognises the wider journey they are on.
Outside of tutoring, I have a love for music, nature, and quiet reflection. I play the Greek lyre, love to scuba dive and am happiest exploring the amazing cultures of the Arctic Circle, though equally content reading at home beside my cat, Achilles. These experiences shape the way I teach—bringing a sense of calm, creativity, and perspective into each session.
Ultimately, I see education as something more than simply passing exams. It is a process of discovering how you think, what inspires you, and how to trust your own mind. Being part of that journey with students is both a privilege and something I truly enjoy.

My aim is to help you rediscover your sense of curiosity and belief in your own ability, while naturally improving your grades along the way. Many students come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch that begin to shift- into clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of capability- as things start to click. I create a calm, supportive space where you can ask questions freely, think more deeply, and uncover strengths you may not have recognised before.
I am a Science and Psychology graduate with extensive tutoring and mentoring experience, supporting students from GCSE through to A-Level and beyond in Biology, Physics, General Sciences, Psychology, English Literature, and Classics. I offer tutoring both in Cambridge and online, adapting each session to suit your individual goals and pace.
Alongside academic tutoring, I specialise in working with neurodiverse students, including those with ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism (ASC). My approach is deeply student-centred, shaped by my experience supporting Cambridge undergraduates through the University’s ADRC Unit. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor each session to reflect your unique strengths, challenges, and ways of thinking—so that learning becomes not only more effective, but more meaningful too.
