About Frank
Hi, I'm Frank! I got my Master's in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, and subsequently have worked as an AI engineer and quantitative researcher in some of the top proprietary trading firms, which required me to self-study academic statistics. I strongly believe that any student can succeed with the right support and approach. I have achieved a 100% score (maximum possible) in Poland's Matura (A-level equivalent) in Mathematics, Computing, Social Sciences and English; 1530 in SATs (800/800 in maths and 730/800 in language) and a maximum possible 100% score in all Poland's GCSE equivalents. I have successfully participated in the Polish Olympiads in Informatics (computing, top 10 in Poland) and Mathematics (top 100 in Poland). Subsequently, I read Computer Science at the University of Warsaw, where I graduated with top honours in top ~11% of the class and then moved to Cambridge. I believe all these qualifications have prepared me well to teach mathematics, statistics and computing. Tuition with me starts with the onboarding meeting to discuss your goals and how I can help. Afterwards, we'll go through each subject, discuss relevant concepts and examples in detail, and help you independently solve past paper questions. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your personal goals!

I help my students set ambitious goals and reach them, which is much easier with proper help. At the (free) onboarding meeting, we will discuss your goals and needs - to see if and what support would be useful. The following lessons would normally be a 1-1 work on relevant topics, using my bank of questions and resources ranging from GCSE/A-Level, to the Olympiad level - with focus on understanding fundamental concepts (which is often neglected at GCSE/A-Level prep) and solving past paper questions. I conclude the lesson with a recap, checking what you've learnt and understood, and answering any questions. If agreed, I'll also give some light homework to consolidate your knowledge. Each lesson lasts around 1 hour. I have taught students both for A-levels and science olympiads in maths and computing, in person and remotely, for several years. I deeply enjoy teaching, and have been proud to see my students succeed at A-Levels and in olympiads. Any olympiad prep will require significant independent work from you - which can pay off nicely. Where needed, I'm also happy to help students looking to write university applications and pass relevant Cambridge or Oxford entrance tests.
