About Charlotte
I am currently in my fifth year of studying medicine at the University of Cambridge, and have graduated with a BA in natural sciences.
I achieved A*A*A* in biology, chemistry and maths at A level, and am here to help you achieve the grades you are aiming for; as well as to help build understanding and confidence in learning for those not yet at the age to be thinking about GCSEs and A levels.

I offer tutoring for biology and physiology at all levels up to the first year of university; and can also offer sessions for GCSE and A Level chemistry and maths, as well as English and Physics at GCSE level, upon request.
My tutoring lessons will very much be tailored to the student, this will mean adapting the style of teaching to the tutee - whether that mean more of a focus on visual learning, auditory learning or reading and writing. Through the use of PowerPoints, quizzes or interactive online whiteboards I will aim to keep students engaged, helping them get the most out of each session. The teaching will be dynamic with the aim to help tutees build a solid understanding of the content they are learning, with memory retaining techniques also being taught.
The optimal length of a session will be 1 hour, with the option to go up to 2 hours if this is more effective for the student.
The aim with my lessons is always to make the tutee feel comfortable and content, feeling free to ask any question they have and knowing that making mistakes will never be something they’ll be judged for - it’s all about building confidence in themselves and their abilities.
