About Mary
I just finished my first year of my masters in biochemistry and I just love explaining these topics as I find them so interesting and beautiful! I am studying at UOA and have absolutely loved exploring molecular biology and chemistry. I love to get my students engaged and having fun with the topics as I believe it is a terrific way to learn. Time flies when you’re having fun right? I’m ultimately just wanting to help my students have a better understanding of the topic and reach for those A+ marks!

I believe in active recall and an applied approach. I like to go over what is confusing you about the subject/what questions you have and spend time explaining the concepts with engaging examples. After I talk you through through the concepts I like to do a knowledge check with questions or practice test questions. I like to keep it fun and engaging as I know these topics can some times be a bit of a snooze! I have tutored privately before and had some really fun and engaging experience!Lessons generally run for about an hour.
