About Callum
I am currently nearing the end of my PhD in cardiac science at the University of Manchester and I'm a big biology nerd. I did my undergraduate degree in anatomy & human biology at University of Liverpool (1st class) and I have two Master's of Research degrees (both distinction), the first in biomedical science from Liverpool and the second in cardiovascular science from Manchester.
I know the struggles of being university student at all levels and I know how hard it can be to learn things properly when there are so many modules with so much detail.
I'm very patient and easy going and most of all I love teaching biology, helping people realise the wonder of the biological world inside and outside the human body (and obviously to help you pass your exams so you can get where you want to be!).

After 8 whole years of being a university student I've come to learn how to break things down and digest information. From supervising master's level research students in and out of the lab, its become clear to me that simplicity is key, especially when it comes to complex topics.
My lessons are based on learning about biology from the bottom up, as understanding each small part helps us to understand the whole concept. I find it useful to chat around the subject and use diagrams to grasp specific mechanisms and processes.
My lessons are for all university level students and can between 1-3 hours depending on your requirements. I can do online tutoring for anyone worldwide, and in person tutoring in the library or in the pub!
