About Ángel
Ángel Ballesteros
Began studying cello in 2008. In 2012, joined the Fuego Nuevo (New Fire) Youth Symphonic in Cuernavaca, Mexico, under the guidance and conduction of Maestro Arturo Márquez. Attended 3 modules of the National Training Course for Children and Youth Orchestras Conductors. At 13 years of age, he conducted the Autonomous University of Puebla Symphonic Orchestra. In the area of chamber music, has taken master classes with renowned groups and maestros, such as the Linden String Quartet, the Cuarteto Latinoamericano, the Moscow Quartet and the Vienna Piano Trio. From 2015 to 2017, attended three international chamber music camps in Ontario, Canada, on a scholarship granted by Music at Port Milford. In 2016, conducted the Morelos Regional Winds Ensemble at the National Festival of Music Made by Children in Guadalajara. In 2015, started undergraduate studies as cello instrument player at the Higher School of Music of Mexico.
In summer of 2018, was invited by the Harp Helu Foundation in Oaxaca to give a cello
concert and course with his former professor, Jacek Gebczynski. Was the main cello of the Mexico City Camerata for one year. Currently studying in the College of Chinese and ASEAN Arts with professor Ümit Isgorur.

The development and way of learning of each student are unique, therefore I do not work a defined program but something different based on each student. The most important thing is to make music, everything else (the technique, theory, and practice of the instrument) revolves around this objective.
