About Charlotte

Hello, I'm Charlotte and I currently live in London. I'm passionate about helping people succeed, which is one of the reasons why I started teaching English as a Foreign Language. Before teaching, I worked in non-profit sector in the UK, helping organisations and people to measure the difference they make and improve their ability to make social change. I love travelling and recently spent nearly two years living in Montréal, Canada. I also love art and culture, cycling, swimming and I care about social and climate justice. More than anything, I love meeting new people! Maybe we would connect? If so, I'm excited to meet you!

About the lesson

Join me in English Language classes to take your language skills to the next level and your confidence too! In classes with me, you can expect to focus on what you need help with most. I have been tutoring for several years, and teaching English as a Second Language since July 2024. With over 250 hours of ESL teaching experience, you can count on me to help you succeed! My classes typically involve lots of discussions and debates, scenario-based learning and task-based activities. You can expect to talk about contemporary issues such as fake news, nature, or art. So, if you are looking to expand your vocabulary, strengthen your grammar or pronunciation or improve your English for work, come and have classes with me! Classes are best suited to anyone between B1-C2 language level who is looking for a supportive, conversational and enjoyable way to learn. Classes are usually 50-80 minutes long.

Charlotte is one of the best listeners I have ever met - she is truly attentive and one of the most empathetic people I know. She has an awareness that many people don’t have and is able to truly understand those around her. She is not impulsive, thinks before she gives any feedback or advice, and really knows how to read a room. I have looked up to her very much and believe her passion for learning and imparting knowledge is remarkable. French is my first language and Charlotte has been critical to building my confidence and expressing myself at work and in front of an audience. I keep regular contact with Charlotte as a mentor.
