About Alex
I grew up in Newcastle, though I am fairly accent-free. I love what I do and can't imagine doing anything else, hopefully my passion for my work comes across in my lessons.
I live in Cologne, Germany, so I only offer lessons online for students out of this country.

In my opinion, many English teachers use too many technical terms in their classes. I do my best to keep my explanations in simple English with easy to remember examples and rules.
Lessons can be as long as you like, although I find an hour and a half to be most suitable, with three hours being my suggested maximum.
I started teaching in 2013 and have been a freelance teacher ever since, working both as a self-employed teacher and for several different schools. As for qualifications, I have a CELTA, gained at New College Nottingham in 2014, as well as a bachelors degree in architecture.
