About Leah
I am a diligent, organized and patient individual, with a love for English and a passion for teaching!
I recently completed my 180 Hour TEFL Certificate. While I have not tutored online, I have tutored many in person, as well as at schools.
I have also had previous experience working with young children at a Waldorf school, as well as working as an au pair.

My preferred teaching methods differ, depending on the student, as I believe flexibility and working with the needs of your student is what makes a good teacher.
However, I am always punctual, professional, diligent and patient with my students. I enjoy engaging with the student, to not only make them feel more at ease, but also to ensure they are following and understanding the material being taught.
A typical first lesson with a student will begin by getting to know them, what they are grappling with, and devising a plan on how to get them to the desired level of comprehension. I utilize a variety of tools, such as PowerPoints, quizzes, songs, rhymes etc. depending on the student needs and learning preferences.
