About Lia
Gain confidence and trust in my expertise as a tutor. With a cum laude degree in Molecular Biology and three years of high school teaching experience, I'm currently pursuing my medical education to become a physician. Because I am also a student, I know what it is like to take difficult exams, such as AP exams, SAT, ACT, and even the MCAT.

As a tutor, I implement a personalized teaching method tailored to each student's needs.
My techniques include interactive discussions, visual aids, and hands-on activities to enhance understanding. A typical lesson plan begins with assessing the student's knowledge level, followed by targeted instruction and practice sessions.
I have experience teaching students from kindergarten to college, including those with exceptional needs (ESE) and students whose first language is not English (ESOL/ELL), covering subjects like biological sciences, chemistry, psychology, Spanish, and reading/writing. During my time teaching, my students received the exam scores in the entire school.
