About Kowsalya

My name is Kowsalya R, and I am a certified Yoga Trainer with over 1,800 hours of professional training aligned with NSQF Level 4 through the Skill India Digital Hub and the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council.

Yoga is much more than physical exercise to me. It is a practice that can help develop strength, flexibility, balance, body awareness, and a greater sense of calm and well-being.

I am passionate about sharing yoga because I believe that a well-guided practice should be accessible to people of different ages, abilities, and experience levels. My approach focuses on understanding each student's individual needs and guiding them step by step according to their current ability.

Through my professional training, I have developed knowledge of yoga practice, body alignment, anatomy, modifications, and safe teaching principles. I am committed to continuing my learning and helping students build confidence, awareness, and a sustainable yoga practice that can become a positive part of their daily lives.

My goal as a teacher is to create a supportive and welcoming environment where students can learn at their own pace, understand their bodies better, and gradually progress in their yoga journey.

About the lesson

Welcome to a safe, supportive and beginner-friendly space to start or continue your yoga journey!

My classes are open to students of different ages and experience levels, from young adults to seniors. Every session is personalized according to your individual needs, abilities and goals. If a posture feels challenging, I will guide you through suitable modifications and variations, including the use of simple everyday props, to help you practice comfortably and safely.

I believe communication should feel easy and stress-free, so I can conduct classes in English, Hindi or Tamil—whichever language helps you feel most comfortable.

As a certified yoga trainer with over 1,800 hours of professional training, I have developed practical knowledge in yoga techniques, modifications, body awareness and safe teaching approaches. I will guide you step by step, helping you understand your practice rather than simply trying to achieve difficult poses.

Together, we can work towards improving strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, body awareness and relaxation—while building a sustainable yoga practice that suits your individual journey.

My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can learn, progress at your own pace and feel more confident in your body and practice.
