I have found that the best way for students to learn math is to do math. This is why I like an "I do, we do, you do" approach. The teacher models and the students get to practice with me guiding/questioning and then independently and get immediate feedback ensuring they don't do the whole assignment incorrectly.
With over 15 years of experience in the classroom I know the content well. I know the common mistakes students make and how to correct them. I can fill in the blanks for students that struggled in previous classes (Covid loss). I can give insight to state/national testing.
