About Fatme Al Zahraa
Hello! My name is Fatima, and I am a native Arabic speaker from Lebanon, currently based in Canada. I have two years of experience teaching Arabic and Quran. I hold a TAFL certificate in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language and an Ijaza in Quran recitation according to the Hafs and Shu‘bah narrations from ‘Asim. I have also completed several professional training courses in Arabic language instruction, teaching children, online education, and educational technology, and I remain committed to continuously expanding my knowledge and improving my teaching practice.
I am a patient, reliable, and well-prepared tutor who genuinely cares about each student’s progress. I believe that effective learning begins in a respectful and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and learning from their mistakes.
I teach Modern Standard Arabic, Lebanese Arabic, and Quran reading with Tajweed to children and adults. I can also support learners in English or French when necessary. My goal is to help every student build strong foundations, make steady progress, and develop lasting confidence in Arabic or Quran recitation.

My lessons are personalized according to each student’s level, goals, age, and learning style. I teach Modern Standard Arabic, Lebanese Arabic, and Quran reading and recitation, with a strong focus on clear pronunciation, communication, and building confidence.
A typical lesson includes a short review, the introduction of new vocabulary or concepts, guided practice, and interactive activities involving speaking, listening, reading, or writing. For Quran students, lessons can also focus on correct pronunciation, Tajweed rules, and recitation.
I use structured and engaging materials, visual activities, practical examples, and regular revision to help students make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.
My lessons are suitable for children and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced learners.
