About Manuel
Hello! My name is Manuel. I am a graduate of the higher technical college for Chemical Engineering (vocational school) based in Austria, and I am currently studying Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Glasgow. I functioned as a tutor for new students at the vocational school for three years. In addition, I now also tutor students via the German learning platform 'GoStudent', where I teach chemistry, biology, low level and high level maths.
I look forward to continuing to empower students and boost their confidence in Chemistry, because only through communication and co-operation can progress be steered in the right direction.

I worked as a tutor at the vocational school for Chemical Engineering I attended for three years, helping young pupils to find their way around the school as well as tutoring them in some subjects (stoichiometry, organic chemistry, applied maths, biochemistry).
Working as a Tutor via the German platform 'GoStudent', I have discovered that a topic is best remembered and understood through visual representations and that the ‘big picture’ is the most important aspect of acquiring a good foundation for understanding the topic. I prefer to structure my lessons using visual methods and written methods by writing on a whiteboard. I also visualise some processes or principles in front of the camera or imply an imaginary picture in my students' minds by using metaphors.
I teach and have taught students from various educational backgrounds, including middle-/ high-school and university level.
