About Lane
My interest in Chemistry began with a fascination for how molecular interactions influence the world around us. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry before earning a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students improve their understanding through engaging and supportive instruction.
I believe effective teaching requires patience, flexibility, and clear communication. My lessons are adapted to suit different learning styles, helping students build confidence while strengthening their scientific knowledge. I enjoy helping learners discover that Chemistry can be both understandable and interesting.
Outside education, I enjoy exploring developments in pharmaceutical science and sustainable chemistry. These interests help me connect lessons to modern applications and real-world relevance. Helping students overcome challenges and reach their academic goals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand the ideas that explain how substances interact and change. We study atomic theory, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, stoichiometry, equilibrium, and organic chemistry through simple explanations and practical examples. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding so students can approach questions with confidence.
Lessons are customised to suit the learner’s academic level and objectives. Students work through guided exercises, problem-solving tasks, and scientific discussions that improve both understanding and application. Each session is structured to encourage active participation and steady progress.
I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring new concepts and asking questions. As their confidence develops, they become more capable of solving challenging problems independently. My goal is to help learners achieve success while developing a deeper appreciation for Chemistry.
