About Jeff
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from SMU, but went on to study medicine. I love to teach and have been tutoring high school and college chemistry for over 10 years. I have been recognized for skill in teaching.

I am very patient and like to use different methods to enable understanding in my students. I believe in step-wise mastery of concepts with frequent review of previous topics to maintain competence. Lessons start with broad descriptions of main topic followed by more focused details. I like to stop to ask questions every few minutes to ensure the concepts are being understood.
