I was taught by Mr. Akalanka for my International Advanced Level in Chemistry. I have to say, I have never had a finer Chemistry tutor. He always put in his best effort in teaching everything important and to make sure each student understood what was required of them in the subject and during the exams. I did my AS and A2 exams for Chemistry, and was able to pass with great grades and distinction due to his teaching.

Akalanka graduated with a BSc in chemistry special degree ( only 30 out of 500 student cohort get selected to a special degree program) from the University of Peradeniya. He was one of my batchmates at the University of Peradeniya. He started tutoring in chemistry when he was a college student. I have recommended him to several students I know who successfully passed their advanced-level chemistry. Akalanka is a qualified educated and dedicated teacher. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Mr Akalanka was my chemistry tutor for EDEXCEL IAL. I'm not a huge fan of chemistry, I did it for the sake of doing it at first. But things turned around, when he made Chemistry feel so easy to understand, giving easier techniques to study, shorter notes to study. And most importantly, exam paper discussions with him were quite interactive and helped me get good grades. Highly recommending him!!
