About Preeti
My journey in chemistry began with a deep curiosity about how substances interact and change. This curiosity eventually led me to pursue advanced studies in the field, where I completed a PhD in Chemistry. Over the past 9 years, I have taught chemistry to students with different learning styles and academic goals. Teaching allows me to share my passion for scientific discovery while helping learners understand challenging concepts.
I believe that effective teaching combines patience, clarity, and structured explanation. Chemistry often becomes difficult when ideas are introduced too quickly or without enough context. My approach focuses on guiding students step by step so they can understand the logic behind chemical principles. By adapting lessons to each student’s pace, I help learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading scientific journals and learning about new developments in chemical research. Staying informed helps me bring updated knowledge and interesting examples into my lessons. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence is one of the most satisfying parts of my work. My goal is to help learners succeed academically while also developing a genuine interest in the science of chemistry.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand the reasons behind reactions and formulas. My lessons focus on explaining chemical ideas in a clear and logical way so that learners can build strong foundations. We begin with core topics such as atoms, elements, and basic chemical bonding. Many students initially see chemistry as a subject full of difficult equations, but when concepts are explained step by step, the patterns behind reactions become easier to recognize.
During lessons, I guide students through important areas including chemical equations, reaction types, acids and bases, and energy changes in reactions. Each topic is explained with examples that help students connect theory with real situations. Practice problems are solved together so learners can follow the reasoning used in each step. I also use diagrams and simple comparisons to make complex processes easier to understand. Questions and discussion are encouraged because active participation helps students remember ideas more clearly.
As students continue learning, they begin to notice chemistry in everyday experiences such as cooking, cleaning, and environmental changes. Understanding these connections helps learners see the value of chemistry beyond textbooks. My goal is to support students in building both knowledge and confidence. With consistent practice and clear explanations, chemistry becomes a subject that students can approach with curiosity and understanding.
