About Oliver
When studying with friends I have always found myself able to quickly explain the concepts I had grasped to them well, in a way they could understand. This was regularly met with asking me if I had considered teaching.
Although teaching is not my long term ambition, I appreciate the true value and reward in helping others achieve their potential through my own skills and knowledge, this is my main motivation to choose tutoring as a way to support myself in my studies.

Taking a student led approach, targetting the most challenging concepts first and breaking them down to make them understandable and, most importantly, memorable to pass the exam! This is combined with more general study tips I have learned as someone who is not a natural studier and has spent many years learning to squash the urge to procrastinate.
I have a first class masters degree (MChem) in medicinal chemistry and I am cofindent in teaching chemistry at any level up to ungraduate. I have acted as a peer assited tutor whilst studying so I have experincing in leading tutoring sessions.
I am also able to teach maths and biology to A-level and have A-levels and some degree modules in these areas.
I am currently a medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, having acheieved a 90th percentile average in the BMAT. I am happy to provide standalone tutoring for medical admissions, the BMAT, UCAT or to combine this with academic teaching.
I have an advanced DBS certificate and I am happy to tutor students of all ages and abilities, including those with SpLD.
