About Chase
I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Chemical Sciences. My interest in Chemistry began through exploring how chemical processes influence technology, health, and everyday life. Over the years, I have enjoyed helping students discover that scientific concepts can become much easier when explained in a logical and engaging way.
My teaching philosophy is built on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I work closely with students to identify their learning needs and create lessons that support both understanding and confidence. Helping learners grow academically remains a key part of my teaching approach.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about advances in sustainable chemistry, material development, and industrial innovation. These interests allow me to connect classroom learning to real-world applications. Supporting students as they become confident and capable learners is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand the science behind matter, reactions, and chemical change. We explore atomic structure, periodic trends, bonding, reaction rates, equilibrium, acids and bases, and organic chemistry through clear explanations and practical examples. I focus on helping learners develop strong conceptual understanding so they can approach questions with confidence and accuracy.
Each lesson combines theory with structured problem-solving activities. Students learn how to interpret chemical information, perform calculations, and connect concepts across different areas of Chemistry. Guided exercises and discussion-based learning help strengthen understanding while improving analytical thinking skills.
I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and asking questions. Regular feedback and personalised guidance help learners make consistent progress. My goal is to help students build confidence in Chemistry while developing the scientific reasoning needed for long-term academic success.
