About Rishan
I am a Chemistry tutor with 9 years of experience and a degree in Industrial Chemistry and Materials Science. My passion for Chemistry began with curiosity about how everyday materials are created, how reactions power industries, and how molecules shape the world around us. Teaching Chemistry allows me to guide students toward clarity and confidence in a subject that often feels intimidating.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly supportive. I help learners strengthen their understanding of chemical calculations, reaction behavior, bonding theory, and exam-focused problem solving. Many students begin feeling unsure about balancing equations or handling stoichiometry, and I take pride in helping them gain confidence through calm explanation and consistent practice. My Chemistry lessons are designed to make chemical ideas feel clear, logical, and approachable for every learner. Chemistry can seem difficult when students feel surrounded by formulas, reaction steps, and unfamiliar terminology, so I focus on building understanding slowly and carefully. We explore how atoms combine, how reactions occur, and why chemical systems behave the way they do. Each lesson is structured to help students feel supported while developing stronger scientific thinking.
In our sessions, beginners build comfort with atomic structure, bonding, periodic trends, and basic equation writing. Intermediate learners strengthen skills in stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, energetics, and reaction rate analysis. Advanced students work on organic reaction mechanisms, multi-step calculations, exam-style questions, and deeper conceptual reasoning. I use step-by-step breakdowns, practice exercises, and clear feedback so improvement becomes steady and visible.
