About Lindsay
As a 2021 graduate of Bradley University, who took classes through the pandemic, I understand some of the challenges that can come with online learning. Whether you are a first-time online learner or a pro, I will not let the online format take away from the learning process!
I have 1.5 years of tutoring experience. Half of that time was spent teaching 5th and 6th grade math, and the other half of that time was spent teaching college physics. No matter the age of my students, if need be, I take the time to find different ways to explain concepts, so that at least one way will really resonate!

I believe the best way to learn something is by teaching the subject to others! I start with understanding the base-level knowledge a student has for a given topic, and I explain any missing gaps. Then, I help students work through practice problems with simple questioning techniques until they feel confident and can work entire problems without any prompting. This helps students learn concepts and instill those skills with a high level of confidence. I am very through, detail-oriented, and have received high praise from my teachers/professors on my ability to methodically teach various subjects.
I work with students K-12 on foundational math skills as well as students taking algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. I also teach chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry.

Deadly! Lindsay had great communication, understanding, and patience with my daughter in helping her with her lessons. She explained everything in great detail and made sure my daughter understood everything and felt confident about the lessons they went over. Overall as a parent trying to do what’s best for my child when it comes to her courses and grades I’m very happy that my daughter met with Lindsay. I highly recommend her.
- Ivona tackled dividing polynomials with one variable through long division. She seems to understand the basic overall process of how to work through the problems. Sometimes a sign (plus or minus) was off or she was a little uncertain of the value on an exponent, but with a little more guidance and practice I know this will not be a problem for her.Lindsay's response :
