About Sharon
I'm a passionate and dedicated teacher of science having done my teaching practise and internship at Nova pioneer. I love to see my students excel as they get to understand subjects that once was a challenge to them.
I create engaging and interactive classroom environment using tools like online simulations, educative videos so as to make learning interesting and very enjoyable. I'm very flexible and ready to learn new ways of ensuring my learners get to understand concepts.

As a well trained teacher from Kenyatta university, having done my teaching practise at Nova pioneer I understand that delivering well structured lesson, breaking down complex topics into easy and manageable steps comes a long way than encouraging rote memorization and learning. I give structured,leaner centred lesson and the teaching methods that meet the diverse needs of learners.
Lesson breakdown.
1. Diagnosing ideas from past lessons so as to establish a background of what the students knows. (5minutes)
2. Introducing the new concept (30 -45 minutes). Use simple language to explain the concept to the learner.
3. Practise session (10-15 min).
Create simple tasks for the student to solve so as to know the area that the student is having difficulty understanding.
Benefits to the learner:
Breaking complex concept to easy and simple step.
Engaging classroom through Google meet/zoom as we use whiteboard tools to draw diagrams and explain concept.
Learning that meet the diverse needs of learners

8.4.4 ( form 3-form 4), CBE from grade 7- 10.
