About Kai
I have been playing guitar for 12+ years, with an additional academic background in music production, singing, playing other instruments such as bass guitar, trumpet, piano, and ukulele, I have been teaching for over 8 years. Experience teaching students professionally between the ages of 4 - 20, and firmly believe anyone, at any age, can learn music.

My philosophy is straightforward. I exist to facilitate a healthy environment for my students to prosper. This means: creating content *they* want to learn (songs, songwriting, etc), and creating a structure to help them reach those goals as smoothly and quickly as possible. My goal is to demystify music and make it a tangible, enjoyable experience to delve into the musical universe around us.

Cancellations must be made at least 4 days (96 hours) in advance. Emergencies do happen, but the majority of the time, things are preventable. Please respect my time as I respect yours. If I am not notified about a cancellation at least (minimum) this far in advance, I reserve the right to charge full price for the lesson(s) that would have occurred in the missed timeframe.
