Hi! I’m Rebecca, a college student with a passion for helping others learn with clarity and confidence. I specialize in middle school and high school math, as well as college prep for high school students. As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming classes, deadlines, and tests can feel. That’s why I aim to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can ask questions, build skills, and actually enjoy learning. Whether you're prepping for a test, working on essays, or just trying to boost your grades, I’m here to help every step of the way. In our sessions, I focus on personalized teaching, interactive practice, and smart study strategies that fit your learning style. Methods include: - Breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. - Encouraging active learning through questions, mini-quizzes, and real-world examples. - Adapting my teaching style to the student’s preferred way of learning — visual, verbal, or hands-on. - Creating a safe, encouraging space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. - Provide slides, worksheets, study and review guides, along with other resources. Lesson Plan (Typical session): Each session is structured to balance review, learning, and practice - Check-in: Set goals for session and prepare - Quick review of last session - Guided Learning: Walk through the topic with examples, visuals, and real-time feedback - Practice: Work on problems together - Wrap-Up: Summarize takeaways and plan next steps, discuss overall session.
