About Jesmaria

Hi, I'm Jesmaria! Learning about money and markets can feel intimidating, especially when most explanations either oversimplify things or bury you in jargon. My goal is to make microeconomics and financial markets genuinely understandable, no matter where you're starting from.

I bring a rather unusual combination to the table: I'm currently pursuing a B.Com alongside a degree in Psychology, and for the past five years, I've been actively trading and analyzing the Indian stock markets on my own. I'm not teaching from theory alone — I've sat with real portfolios, tracked real market swings, and learned firsthand how economic principles play out in practice, not just on paper. On top of that, I hold a diploma in multimedia animation, which shapes how I present ideas: visually, clearly, and in a way that's easy to follow.

What ties all of this together is a research project I'm currently pursuing, combining commerce and psychology to understand investor behavior and decision-making — essentially, why people make the financial choices they do. That same curiosity is what I bring into every class.

I take teaching seriously. Every session is planned in advance, backed by a structured syllabus and clear notes, so you always know what to expect and can revisit material whenever you need to. My aim isn't just to help you pass an exam, but to help you actually understand how markets and economic decisions work in the real world.

Whether you're a school student just starting out, a college student deepening your coursework, or an adult simply curious about finance, I'm here to make the subject feel less like a chore and more like something worth understanding.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Jesmaria! I'm a Commerce and Psychology double-major with 5 years of experience trading and analyzing Indian stock markets. I teach introductory microeconomics and financial markets, blending theory with real-world investor psychology.

My Teaching Approach :

I share a weekly syllabus and notes before each class so you can preview the topic. Sessions are interactive rather than one-way lectures — I use real examples like actual stock charts and current market events instead of textbook hypotheticals. Each class follows a simple rhythm: a quick review, a focused explanation of the new concept, and time for practice and questions, using a digital whiteboard for live problem-solving. I follow up with short quizzes or homework to check understanding. Classes are conducted in English.

Who My Classes Are For and What Makes Me Different :

Open to all age categories — school students, college students, or adults curious about how financial markets actually work. My trading background lets me bring live market events directly into lessons, something most tutors can only teach from a textbook, while my psychology training adds insight into why markets and investors behave the way they do, not just the mechanics.
