About Kris
I am an educator with over a decade of experience working with children in both childcare and individualized learning environments. My background blends hands-on educational practice with curriculum development and logical problem-solving, allowing me to approach mathematics in a way that is both structured and deeply personalized.
I specialize in helping students who feel frustrated or discouraged by math. Rather than rushing through material, I identify foundational gaps and rebuild confidence step-by-step. Every lesson is personalized to your child’s specific needs. I begin by identifying what they already understand and use that as our foundation. From there, we build skills step-by-step in a way that feels achievable and engaging.
A typical lesson includes:
- Assessing your child’s current understanding
- Strengthening foundational gaps
- Using custom games and hands-on materials designed for their learning style
- Building a clear bridge from “what was confusing” to “what makes sense”
- By the end of the first week, your child will walk away with a new skill — and more importantly, increased confidence.

I see every student as wholly capable.
Struggling with math does not mean a child “isn’t good at math.” It means they need instruction that connects to how they think. I design educational games and lessons that meet each student where they are and turn complex concepts into clear, approachable steps.
