About Joshua

Having recently obtained a bachelor's degree, I perfectly understand the challenges that students may face when tackling new concepts or subjects in what I teach.
My desire to transmit this knowledge stems above all from my deep conviction in the importance of education in personal and professional development.
My goal is to provide you with the tools and skills needed to succeed, cultivating your self-confidence and providing individualized support throughout your learning journey.

About the lesson

My approach is centered on the understanding and engagement of my students. I personalize my lessons to the individual needs of each learner. Here is how I share my knowledge:

1) I take an interactive and participatory approach, encouraging students to ask questions and express their concerns.
2) I rely on concrete examples and practical applications to make the concepts more tangible and easy to assimilate.
3) I offer a variety of materials such as videos, practical exercises and quizzes to diversify learning methods and promote student engagement.

My "typical" course takes place in 4 stages:
1) Quick review of previously covered concepts to strengthen information retention.
2) Exploration of new topics, following a pre-established but flexible lesson plan, according to the needs of the students.
3) Interaction, with practical demonstrations, guided exercises and discussions to stimulate thinking and understanding.
4) Summary of the key points of the session, identification of areas to work on for the next lesson.

My specificities as a teacher:
1) I adapt to the pace and learning style of each student.
2) I create a healthy learning environment, and mistakes are learning opportunities.
3) My holistic approach incorporates not only the understanding of concepts, but also the development of practical skills and self-confidence.

Who the courses are for:
1) My courses are aimed at middle and high school students, for beginners as well as the most experienced.
2) I am competent in teaching several subjects, including mathematics, computer science, and science, as well as supporting courses in programming and data analysis.
3) Whether for preparing for exams, strengthening the basics or deepening knowledge, my courses are adapted to the specific needs of each student.
