About Shohidul
I tutor Maths up to GCSE, and I’m passionate about helping students who feel stuck or lack confidence. I’m a Computer Science graduate with 10 years of tutoring experience, and I teach in a patient, encouraging way that makes maths feel manageable.
I’m organised and consistent: lessons are planned, step-by-step, and focused on building understanding through practice. Whether your child needs support to catch up, prepare for GCSE exams, or build stronger foundations, I’ll provide professional, friendly guidance every step of the way.

My priority is helping students feel confident and capable in maths. I keep lessons calm, supportive, and clear—so students stop guessing and start understanding.
Techniques & methodology
- I break topics into simple steps and explain the “why”.
- We practise together first, then build independence.
- I use lots of encouragement, clear feedback, and repetition where needed.
- I focus on turning mistakes into learning, not stress.
Typical lesson length
Usually 60 minutes. If a student prefers shorter sessions or needs more intensive support, I can adapt.
