About Raphael
My passion to tutor students stemmed from my experience with tutoring both high school and college freshmen students with their Calculus and Python classes. Due to my current status as a Computer Science student, I feel confident in my ability to tutor in the aforementioned classes and so much more. Education is often regarded as the key to a brighter future, however many students still face obstacles that impede their confidence in their academic performance. As a student myself, I understand what it is like to feel "stuck" and face hardships in my academics. However, my goal is to utilize my skills and experience to empower students with the confidence and ability to take control of their academic journey and in turn change their future for the better.

My approach to education and learning a skill is simple: practice makes perfect! Though simple, I firmly believe that the more one practices a skill, the more attuned that individual will be to what they are learning. As a mathematics tutor, I seek to breakdown concepts into bite sized pieces. Once a concept has been grasped, it's all about practicing problems of various difficulties related to the concept that has been discussed. Lessons that I tutor are geared towards students of all ages. I am more than happy to work with students of all backgrounds and ages, so long as they have the determination!
