About Tuathal

I developed a passion for Maths at a young age, and have been helping my struggling classmates with their work since primary school. I get a great sense of satisfaction from helping a student understand a concept or overcome a challenging problem.
I was lucky enough to have great maths teachers for most of my schooling and they have inspired the way I teach. I did my Leaving Cert in 2022, which I believe gives me a better understanding of the position secondary school students are in, as I was in their shoes not so long ago.
I know Maths is a tough area for many people, and even a scary one for some. I aim to, if not impart my love for the subject, at the very least dispell some of the woe caused by it and allow the student to be comfortable with it.
My motto is : no more tears over Maths!

About the lesson

I develop my lesson plans individually based on each student's unique goals, strengths and weaknesses. I believe in taking a hands-on approach to tackle target areas.
My top priority is always to better the student's understanding of the learning material, but I am also well versed in key exam technique to maximise marks. This combination is guaranteed to achieve results in grades, as well as personal academic development.
I specialise in Leaving Cert and Junior Cert students, with typical lessons ranging from 1-2 hours, preferably in-person but online isn't an issue.
