About Matthew
Hello. My name is Matthew. I've been offering 1-on-1 tuition in science and maths subjects since the start of 2019. I've always loved science and found it highly interesting and fascinating, so I can inject a lot of energy and love for the subject in my lessons. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Genetics (University of Nottingham) and a Master's in Cancer Cell and Molecular Biology (University of Leicester), as well as A levels in Maths, Physics, Human Biology, and Chemistry. I offer lessons both in-person and online.

I prefer to create practice questions to determine which areas the student is good at and which they're not too confident in. Once I can pinpoint the areas they're struggling with, I go in-depth trying to explain the how and the why, to make sure the student can understand what's going on and not just memorise it. After that, how well they understood it I can test with more practice questions.
