About Joe
Hi! I’m a recent graduate from the University of Exeter, where I studied Conservation Biology. I’m currently working as an environmental consultant, but I wear a few other hats too—I’m a qualified instructor in surfing, skiing, and tennis, and I love sharing what I know in a way that clicks with each individual. Outside of work and tutoring, I’m a huge ocean lover and spend as much time in or around the water as I can. I’m also a hobbyist underwater videographer and passionate about wildlife. When I’m not chasing waves or wildlife, you’ll probably find me writing poetry or working on my blog. I’m all about making learning feel natural, engaging, and actually enjoyable. Whether it's explaining tricky psychology concepts or helping someone improve their confidence, I bring patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in helping others grow.

I also work as a surfing and skiing instructor, so I’m used to teaching people from all walks of life. Whether it's out on the waves or in a tutoring session, I know how to explain things clearly, adapt my teaching style to suit the student, and build confidence along the way. My goal is to help you feel capable, supported, and even enjoy the process of learning psychology. Let’s make it make sense-and make it stick.
