I am a Chartered Accountant with Big 4 experience (KPMG) and graduated from UBC with a BCom Honors. Currently work as a Controller at a private industry company after having previously worked for a publicly traded company in a financial reporting role.

My teaching methods are visual with lots of examples/exercises. A description of a typical class would include many slides with visual examples to ensure that students are understanding the material and able to put concepts into practice in order to full grasp the material. I believe the best way to learn is by doing, and that is best done through 2 way (teacher-student) communication!

Deadly! I am a new business owner, I was totally loss when it came to the finance side things, within 90mins Michael explained everything I needed to do, gave me the direction and guidance. I really cannot recommend Michael enough, he came to our session well prepared, before our session he had a session outline with areas that related to my business; his teaching style is uplifting and keeps you engaged throughout.
