About Ximena
I have worked with teenagers (12-19years old), university students and employees from different institutions for 10 years in my home country: Mexico. I've had the precious chance to share knowledge with each and every one of my students. I love being a guide in their discovery of new topics, new worlds, new words. And through this, the discovery of themselves. My classes are a blend of my students' passions and my own passions. I had the chance to read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein with a group of 17 year olds and watch the way they were fascinated by it even when they used to say they did not like to read. I have made teenagers fall in love with Shakespeare's characters and sonnets and find out they share many feelings and situations with his characters. On the other hand I have also learned about Architecture, jewish tradition, digital trends and more from them.
I'm looking forward to enriching my life experience in Manchester by sharing and obtaining knowledge from my students to come.

As a theatre creator, I've always had a passion to communicate in a sensitive way with people. I love to be a part of a person's transformation to a better version of themselves. When I became a teacher, I could experience this in outstanding levels. Being able to witness the human flourishing of my students has been one of the most enriching experiences in my life.
