I have been having weekly Theory of Music lessons with Jaquelyne for just under 3 months. I was a complete novice when she took me under her wing and, despite her encyclopaedia knowledge of the subject, she has patiently and successfully managed to harness my understanding of music, with the help of her own material – targeted to my needs and learning style. After only 6 weeks, I passed the online Grade 1 exam, thanks to her tutelage and coaching. Outside of our lessons, she has actively looked for material and explanations that have helped me understand complex concepts, catering for the way my brain processes information. I highly recommend Jacquelyne to anyone curious to learn (more) about Theory (and History for that matter) of Music.
