About Mallory
Hello! I’m Mallory, a product developer and a creative sewist. I've been a sewing enthusiast for over 20 years, engaging with sewing across numerous disciplines, professionally and privately. My passion lies in amplifying creative expression and empowerment through the art of sewing, whether it’s through sewing for the home (curtains, napkins, towels, etc), modern quilting, upcycling , or creating high-quality garments. Leveraging my professional background in research, strategy, and design for product development, I offer sewing lessons that are as intuitive as they are impactful, designed to inspire and nurture creativity in sewists of all ages and skill levels.

My teaching philosophy centers around unlocking each student's creative potential, regardless of their age or skill level. Through a blend of theory and hands-on practice, I cover everything from fabric selection, to machine set-up and basic stitching, all the way to complex tailoring. I excel at teaching others how to sharpen their eye for detail, engaging curiosity and skill development in the process. I pride myself on creating an empowering environment that encourages exploration and innovation, catering to sewists of any age looking to either start their sewing journey or elevate their existing skills.
