About Brandon

Hey there! Brandon here - music educator and professional musician! I'm an experienced music educator with over 8 years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and 1-on-1, specializing in woodwinds! I earned Bachelor's degrees in both saxophone performance and music education from Cal State, Long Beach, as well as a Master's degree in Jazz Studies from Cal State, Northridge. As a result, I'm trained in all styles of performance, from classical and jazz to folk and R&B. On top of this, I'm a trained and credentialed music teacher through the state of California.

About the lesson

Lessons with me are fun but structured! My personally developed curriculum has a heavy emphasis on practice technique so that my students have the tools to continue learning and improving efficiently on their own.

I provide a lot of my own educational and practice materials through PDF, to better customize them to my students' needs.

Topics covered for ALL students:
-Fundamental Instrument Technique
-Practice Habits
-Music Reading
-Improvisation
-Music Theory
-Composition

I look forward to working with you!
