About Tom
My name is Tom and I'm 19 years old from Yorkshire. I studied Economics, French and Spanish at A Level and achieved A* A A respectively. For me, this is all about sharing knowledge and ideas as it is a diverse subject with no wrong answers once you consider the theory.
As a current university student studying Economics, I find it important to share my knowledge with those studying A Level Economics currently. By no means did I find it easy, but with guidance and detailed explanations, it is fun to study and an interesting subject for sure!

Tailored to the students needs, I will deliver insightful and coherent lessons which give knowledge to students as well as the skills needed to answer essay questions. I am competent in explaining both microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts and will strive for sound understanding of all theory.
A lesson will be focused on areas of worry/interest to students and I will create lessons based on prior questions or worries. There will be plenty of discussion and it will be an open conversation rather than me just talking at you!
To me, it is fundamental that students really understand economic theory to thrive in this subject. Of course, exams require great exam technique and application of knowledge, but you can only write about what you know. If you can show an examiner how well you know theory and models, that will show competence and is bound to gain high marks as long as exam technique is good.
