About Aiden
I am currently a student myself studying A-levels in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. My position as a student should give me an insight into how a student benefits from different teaching styles and will allow me to adopt an approach that caters to each student and their individual preferences and needs. I know what I benefited from most and understand what it takes to conquer your GCSEs. My aim is to not just throw information at my students but to keep them engaged throughout the learning process and help either maintain or spark some passion for the subject while learning it to enhance the learning experience and to strengthen their willingness to learn the subject and hopefully help them retain vital knowledge through interest and passion. I am patient, cool-headed and cannot wait to embark as a team with you through your GCSE journey. I attained grade 9s in Computer Science and English Language with a grade 8 in Mathematics.

There is a formula to success that aided me through my own GCSE courses - adapted learning tailored to how each individual student responds reinforced by a mixture of Tutor-Student exam practice and independent exam practice to consolidate learning. It is of utmost importance for a student not only to understand concepts but also to understand what examiners are looking for in their GCSE exams. This is a well-known approach and I have seen it tried and tested many times (as with myself). Each lesson would span an hour at any interval per week that suits your needs or circumstances. I am confident GCSE students looking for a tutor would benefit from my own experience as a successful student and at the same time recognise that it isn't easy to place trust in a fellow student; I am certain after a couple of lessons I would earn that trust. I will reflect this understanding by offering competitive hourly rates far better than that of more experienced tutors.
