To me, tutoring is more than teaching a young person xyz facts, it is in fact cultivating a genuine love and passion for the subject. This is nurtured through understanding my students and adapting the teaching technique in a way that best suits them.
I am a medical student and so I have learned over the years the best methods of working effectively and working to your strengths. This is something I like to instill in all my students.
My lessons tend to be 1-1.5 hours and consist of going through the content and incorporating questions into the lessons.
