About Reilly
As a high school math student currently enrolled in Algebra II honors and have gone my whole life completing honors and challenging classes, I have learned a lot. I used to personally struggle with math myself. But once I received a tutor things began to click and math became one of my best subjects, having straight A's throughout my time in high school. I believe tutors are such an amazing resource so have and can help so much in the long run. Having a tutor changed my life and my work ethic and drive. Now, I strive for kids to have this opportunity and I want to provide that! As someone who struggled themselves with math their whole life and finally having it click after having a tutor, I know what its like to not get things right away. I am dedicated to helping students try and learn at any chance they can.

I have learned it is best to let the kids bring in the materials they are working on. They bring in materials tell me what they are confidant in and some they are struggling with. We work on a variety of problems working through the problems they are having. They send me the material before hand so I can get a grasp on what they are doing. As a high school student working with connecting with someone who is also a kid is huge. Not only does it build a better connection for tutoring but builds a better one-on-one connection with the kid and helps them to feel more comfortable and puts them in a better space to understand and learn from someone so close in age.
