About Summer

I am a current second year UBC medical student who finished 3 years of the undergraduate Pharmacology program at McGill
University (GPA: 3.93) I have taken university level courses in calculus, statistics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry and more! I have over 7 years in tutoring and teaching experience and am currently working part time with McGill Tutoring Services. I have also TAed for chemistry courses in the past.

I scored 130 and 132 on the Biology and Psychology Section of the MCAT.

About the lesson

I would like to use my recent MCAT test taking knowledge to help students succeed in the MCAT.

I believe in more than just teaching material and concepts to students. I want to help students develop their own study strategies and habits to help them succeed in the long run. Depending on the subject and topic, I will work with the student to develop approaches to combat different types of questions. Furthermore, I like to use my numerous years of teaching and personal experience to create unique tutoring sessions.

Summer is the best! I was recommended to her by a friend of mine and she literally is the only reason I did well in my math 200 class at Concordia this semester. Summer is super trustworthy because she is brilliant and she knows her material. She can deliver instructions clearly and concisely. She is very flexible with regards to scheduling tutor sessions.
