About Myriam
I absolutely love learning and I love sharing what I learn with others through teaching. In high school, I took every possible math class I could so that I had completed all my college math generals before I graduated. All throughout high school, I tutored kids of all ages with their math and loved every minute of it. I am currently studying math education in college because I love teaching it so much, and I would love any opportunity to get to know more people and share my love of math with them!

Math is typically very difficult because students are usually briefly taught what to do, but not why, so that information doesn't stay with them or make any sense at all. My goal is to help you understand the why, so that the methods of doing the math actually make sense. Plus, I'm all about having fun, and I promise, math actually is enjoyable if it's taught right. I'm very flexible with all kinds of schedules, I can tutor over text even -- I did that with so many kids throughout high school, I'm also down for virtual lessons as well (basically just whatever is the most comfortable for you!) I can tutor from kindergarten through college generals and make each lesson specific to each student. Whether it's needing help on a specific assignment, studying for a test, or just learning hard subjects in general, I'm ready to help!
